I liked the writing style, there are not so many difficult words. It was a very sad story but with a really good ending, which I loved about it. My opinion of this book that I actually really liked this book because it was very easy to read. But after all those hard times he finally got a new home and he became very happy. In the story you can tell he had a very hard life. After that he was often transferred to other stables.
The mother told him what he has to do, how to behave etc. The story begins where he lives with his mother and lot of other horses on a farm until he is four years old. Black Beauty is a beautiful black horse with a white star on its forehead.
